Please Support Pennies for Patients!!
APT will be taking part in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Pennies for Patients program.  The program will run until Memorial Day.  We will collect money to support LLS's mission to find cures and ensure access to treatment for blood cancer patients.  Money collected by our APT students will help local patients fight the most fatal disease of children under the age of 15.  Your support will bring LLS closer to finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease and myeloma and help improve the quality of life of these patients.
You can send your donations to Nurse Kathy.  Loose change will be collected in a container in the health office.
Thank you in advance for assisting LLS to create a world without blood cancer.
Kindergarten Orientation - June 13th

On June 13, 2017, we will hold our Kindergarten Orientation for parents and children. Please be sure to bring your youngster with you.  The orientation will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Terhune School in the cafetorium.

During the orientation, you will meet our kindergarten teacher, Ms. Christine Iacobucci, as well as our School Nurse, Speech/Language Specialist, School Counselor, and our P.T.O. Co-Presidents.  Your child will then be escorted to a kindergarten classroom by one of our teachers.  While you are at the meeting, your child will have the opportunity to visit and see the kindergarten classroom, experience story time and color a picture.

Subsequent to the general meeting in the cafetorium, Ms. Auerbach will take you on a tour of the school, and then proceed to the kindergarten classroom.  Refreshments will be provided by our PTO and will be set up in the cafetorium for you to enjoy.

We all look forward to meeting you and your child on June 13, 2017, in our cafetorium.  If you have any questions concerning the program, please do not hesitate to contact me at (973) 633-3150.
